Our method of executive coaching utilizes a process-driven program that helps clients to harness their talents and overcome barriers needed to reach desired goals as leaders. The process can be summarized as follows: Reflecting on Self => Assessing External Forces => Exploring Motivations and Influences => Devising a Roadmap => Structuring Necessary Steps => Applying Changes to Reach Greatest Success.
1. SELF-REFLECTION
Look into the mirror and analyze the real you. We take you through a series of evaluations, exploring your values and principles, strengths and development needs, as well as other factors. This step will help you to understand yourself and your comfort level with change via a personal assessment.
2. EXTERNAL ASSESSMENT
Realize what makes you tick and the relevance of people, places and things that are significant in your life. What does your human environment think of you? How do they affect and support you? What do they think of your leadership style? What are the expectations of your work environment? Your leader, colleagues, direct reports and those you are closest to will provide feedback in a sundry of areas to better help you determine your needs and goals.
3. MOTIVATIONS AND INFLUENCES
Determine what leads to your success, the things that are positive influencers in your life and what motivates you. We will explore the changes in behavior that could propel you forward and enable you to be a stronger and more effective leader.
4. ROAD MAP
Lay out the stepping stones needed to take you to your desired destination. Stones surround all of us; however, the key is to use them to create a bridge toward being a better leader rather than as roadblocks. A specific roadmap will be designed with milestones for success and accountability. The roadmap will focus on a variety of skills, which may or may not include: handling conflict, problem solving, leadership, communication, decision making, self-criticism, listening, time management, intimidation, emotional intelligence (EQ), confidence, and image.
5. STEPS
Develop an action plan comprised of tactics needed to learn new skills and behaviors. The most important factor at this point, is that you have personal accountability in making sure you work on implementing the behavioral changes needed to positively impact your business and help you to be a more effective and stronger leader.
6. APPLICATION
Implement changes whereby new habits are formed, positive behavioral change is supported and successes are achieved. Measurable goals are established and your coach, along with other accountable partners, will support you to ensure your desired goals are attained. It's time to celebrate!
